The new Brighton and Hove Albion Stadium Project required improvements to the A270 Lewes Road. These improvements included a new underbridge and associated approach retaining wall ramps and embankments.
To form these retaining wall ramps Allan Block geogrid reinforced walls were constructed. Given the nature of the project Allan Block’s BBA Roads and Bridges certificate was utilised, meaning that the walls were constructed from a combination of AB Vertical BBA Standard Blocks and Huesker Fortrac Geogrid.
The Pewter colour was used for this project.
