Colinwell are delighted to be supplying architectural masonry blocks to the new Amazon delivery station currently being built in Channel Commercial Park at Titanic Quarter, Belfast. The new delivery station will replace the temporary facility which opened in 2018 to fulfil amazons long term needs in Northern Ireland. Currently Amazon are using eight local delivery companies and 130 drivers to deliver parcels to its Belfast customers, this will increase to more than 200 drivers when the new delivery station opens. As well as this, Amazons permanent logistics employees will increase from 25 to more than 40.
Our smooth face architectural masonry blocks are known for their suitability for construction of external and internal load-bearing walls. Their versatility and weather proofing made them the perfect choice for this project. They have been supplied in a whinstone colour which gives them an attractive and robust finish.
